PANO – On July 24th, Defense Minister, General Ngo Xuan Lich and his entourage visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers who are under treatment at the Central Military Hospital 108.

The general talked with and wished the inpatients quick recovery so that they can soon return to their routine work and life. He also reminded the staff of the hospital to uphold their responsibility in taking care of and providing sufficient services to wounded and sick soldiers, striving to develop Hospital 108 into a medical facility standardized in terms of both medical ethics and expertise.

Marking the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Day for Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers (July 27th), hospitals and convalescence centers in the whole army are boosting their gratitude activities, paying tribute to generations of cadres and soldiers who sacrificed their youth and lives for national independence and freedom.
