During the visits, the delegation offered incense and expressed gratitude to the former leaders for their great devotion and contribution to the Party and nation’s revolutionary cause, military building, and defense consolidation.

At the meetings, General Phan Van Giang highlighted the important contribution of the former leaders, in their capacity in different positions, to the resistance wars against the French colonialists and the U.S. imperialists, especially their strategic directions in the General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1975.
