Delegates opined on the work, clarifying obtained results and giving answers to some contents according to the capacity and responsibility of their units.

In his concluding speech, General Phan Van Giang acknowledged and lauded agencies and units for their outcomes in performing planning work for barracks-related projects in the whole military over the past time.

The defense chief underlined the significance and importance of the work to the building of standardized barracks. He asked party committees, chains-of-command of agencies and units to pro-actively, creatively, and flexibly carry out the work; boost close coordination and discussions to deal with difficulties and shortcomings in a timely manner and to accelerate the progress as well as ensure quality of the planning of these projects. These would create favorable conditions for contractors to implement projects as planned and with good quality, contributing to building a revolutionary, standardized, elite, and gradually-modernized military.

Apart from the planning work, General Giang directed the General Department of Logistics to team up with functional agencies to study to improve living conditions and ensure other policies for military forces who have actively supported localities to overcome consequences of typhoon Yagi, and give timely encouragement to officers and troops engaged in the tasks so that they could complete their combat missions in peace time.
