Construction of Command 86’s barracks inspected

Having inspected the progress of the construction of barracks, the deputy defense minister had a working session with the Command 86’s representatives, during which he praised the command for actively working with functional agencies in building and submitting projects for approval as regulated. During the implementation of projects, the unit has regularly checked and closely monitored to ensure their quality and safety in all aspects.
Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San also pointed out shortcomings and asked agencies, units, and contractors to promptly address them. He urged relevant agencies and units to foster coordination and speed up the construction progress; be pro-active in bidding and procurement; pay attention to the adjustment of the organization, staffing, and future development of the unit while carrying projects.
He asked Command 86 to direct and coordinate with agencies and units to strengthen inspection and close supervision of works to ensure quality and progress of projects; strictly comply with the laws and regulations on investment and construction in the military.
Regarding projects on building brigades’ commanding post, the deputy defense minister asked the command to select capable, prestigious, and experienced design advisors; build works which are modern, convenient, suitable to units’ conditions, make full use of their utility, especially conference halls and halls of fame.
Together with main works, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San urged the command to pay attention to building green, clean, and beautiful spaces and strictly observe regulations on safety and hygiene.
