The event was chaired by General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense.
The First-Class Military Exploit Order was conferred upon General Phan Van Giang; Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs General Trinh Van Quyet; Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Defense Minister General Nguyen Tan Cuong; Deputy Defense Ministers Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Sr. Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Chien, Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh, Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San, and Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam. The Second-Class Military Exploit Order was presented to Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Hong Thai; Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Truong Thang; and Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Hien.
These officials are seasoned leaders, having grown through years of practical service, combat, and unit development. They have demonstrated steadfast political resolve, exemplary revolutionary ethics, a model lifestyle, a strong sense of responsibility, and profound strategic vision. They have successfully fulfilled all assigned tasks and made significant contributions to building the armed forces, consolidating national defense, and safeguarding the Fatherland in the new era.
On behalf of the CMC and the MND, General Giang congratulated the honorees and emphasized that the orders represent the noble recognition of the Party and the State. They acknowledge the achievements and dedication of individuals while also highlighting the outstanding contributions and high sense of responsibility of the CMC, the MND, and the entire officer and soldiers of the VPA.
Over more than 80 years of building, fighting, and development, the VPA has been the core force in national defense. Originating from the people and fighting for the people, the VPA has remained loyal to the Party and devoted to the people, completing every mission, overcoming every challenge, defeating every enemy. It has always stood as a special political force, an absolutely loyal and reliable fighting army of the Party, the State, and the people. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and beloved President Ho Chi Minh, with the support and protection of the people and assistance from international friends, the VPA has stayed united and won glorious victories in the cause of national liberation, construction, and defense.

Defense leaders honored with First- and Second-Class Military Exploit Order |
In his speech, the Defense Minister expressed profound gratitude to the Party, the State, the people, officers, and soldiers across the military. Acknowledging that the achievements so far remain modest, he urged the recipients of the orders to make even greater efforts, continuously improve their competence, political stance, and morality, and devote more to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, living up to the trust and expectations of the Party, the State, the people, and the armed forces.
