During the session, the Chemical Corps reported significant achievements. The unit has advised the Party, Government, and Ministry of National Defense in implementing international treaties on preventing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. It has also taken the lead in the Network of ASEAN Chemical, Biological, and Radiological (CBR) Defense Experts and deployed experts to assist Laos and Cambodia.

The Corps has also organized training courses on responding to chemical and radiation incidents across multiple provinces and cities. It has led environmental projects, including the remediation of contaminated soil at A So Airport (Thua Thien Hue Province), environmental assessments at Phu Cat Airport (Binh Dinh Province), and other temporary wartime airfields. Support has also been provided to improve the quality of life for Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims.

In his concluding remarks, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien praised the outstanding efforts of the Chemical Corps and emphasized the need to remain proactive and innovative. He urged the unit to coordinate in drafting a national strategy for toxic chemical/dioxin remediation for the 2025–2030 period with a vision to 2050. He also called for an international donor conference to support AO/dioxin victims, continued implementation of ongoing projects, especially those aimed at improving quality of life for victims, establishing care and rehabilitation centers, and eliminating makeshift housing.
