Conference reviews logistics work in 2022
PANO - Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of National Defense, attended and spoke at a conference to review the implementation of logistics work in the whole military in 2022.
The event was chaired by Lieutenant General Tran Duy Giang, Chief of the General Department of Logistics.

Reports at the event affirmed that in 2022, the sector has well ensured logistics supplies for regular and unexpected training and combat readiness tasks.
Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San congratulated and praised the military logistics sector for its achievements in 2022 and pointed out shortcomings that need addressing in the coming time.
To accomplish missions in 2023, the general asked agencies and units to thoroughly study and strictly carry out leadership resolution of the Central Military Commission and the Defense Minister’s orders on military and defense and logistics work in 2023.
He urged the sector to regularly follow and forecast the situational developments and strictly maintain combat readiness; advise and direct the provision of logistic supplies for missions with priority given to forces protecting national sovereignty over sea and islands, being stationed in key areas, and undertaking special missions.
Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San also requested the whole logistics sector to promote the implementation of the “Military logistics sector follows Uncle Ho’s teaching” emulation movement, the “Determined to Win” movement, and others, contributing to building comprehensively strong, exemplary, and outstanding logistics units and agencies. In the short-term, the sector should make thorough preparation of logistics for troops to celebrate the lunar New Year and new enlistee training and organize tree-planting festival in 2023.
Having heard reports and Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San’s speech, Lieutenant General Tran Duy Giang emphasized outstanding outcomes in logistics work in 2022. He also laid stress on key missions that logistics agencies and units should focus in the coming time.
