The activities were on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2025), and the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Navy (May 7, 1955 - 2025).

Cultural and sport activities included football, volleyball matches, tug-of-war, sack race, and marble throwing. Together with enjoying the national holiday, troops still observed discipline, combat readiness and duty regulations, ensuring absolute safety.

These joyful activities helped improve troops’ spiritual life and enhance internal solidarity.

In addition, troops watched and listened to live-broadcast TV and radio programs spotlighting the heroic tradition of the nation and the naval forces. These were viewed as an encouragement for troops to have closer engagement with their units, national sea and islands and to keep ready to weather all challenges and complete their task of safeguarding the nation’s sacred maritime sovereignty.

Below are naval troops’ activities during the April 30 - May 1 holiday.
