Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Hai, the PAN's Deputy Editor-in-Chief, expresses his thanks to officials, Youth Union members, and youngsters from various agencies and units for their enthusiastic participation. He also hopes that meaningful activities like the Voluntary Blood Donation Day would continue to expand in scale in the future.

Immediately after the launch ceremony, delegates, officials, Youth Union members, and youngsters proceed to the registration area.
At the registration desk, blood donors are required to provide detailed health and personal information on the registration form.
A staff member from the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center (under Military Hospital 103) discusses with Senior Captain Tran Thanh Tung, Secretary of the Youth Union Organization of the News Department of the Military Broadcasting Center, before conducting a blood pressure check. Besides officials, Youth Union members, and youngsters from PAN and the Military Broadcasting Center, this year's event also welcomes personnel from 15 affiliated units of the General Department of Political Affairs, together with participants from local agencies and PAN’s twinned units.
In addition to supplementing blood reserves for medical treatment and emergency care for soldiers and civilians, the Annual Voluntary Blood Donation Day is held to strengthen solidarity among the PAN's mass organizations and other agencies and units while raising awareness and responsibility for community activities among officials and Youth Union members.
This year's blood donation event is also a practical activity to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the foundation day of the Defense Trade Union (March 6), the 115th anniversary of the International Women's Day (March 8), and the 94th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26). It also aligns with the Youth Month 2025 and the Voluntary Blood Donation Movement launched by the General Department of Political Affairs.
Representatives from the PAN, Military Hospital 103, and the Military Cheo (Popular Opera) Theater encourage blood donors at the event.
A large number of officials, Youth Union members, and youngsters from various agencies and units participate in the event.

Xaynhakhan Vathi, a Lao cadet from the Military University of Culture and Arts, shared his thoughts on donating blood for the third time: "I believe that as long as I am young and healthy, I can contribute to the community. A drop of my blood not only helps save a life, but also expresses the deep bond between the Lao and Vietnamese militaries."

According to the organizing panel, the event successfully collects a total of 211 blood units.
The collected blood serves as valuable contribution to medical treatment at Military Hospital 103.
In addition to receiving certificates and various gifts, blood donors this year are also given free calligraphy artworks.

PAN holds voluntary blood donation event

PANO - On March 19, in Hanoi, the Youth Union Organization of the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN), in collaboration with the PAN’s mass organizations (Trade Union and Women’s Union) and the Hematology - Blood Transfusion Center (under Military Hospital 103), organized the 6th Annual Voluntary Blood Donation Day in 2025 under the theme "Spreading the Red Drops of Love in March."

The program attracted the participation of 21 mass organizations, Youth Union chapters, and agencies, with more than 300 people registering to donate blood. The event has not only spread the spirit of kindness, but also reaffirmed the responsibility of the military youth in community-oriented activities.
