Military Guard-of-Honor Battalion maneuvers home
PANO - The Military Guard-of-Honor Battalion under the General Staff with troops participating in the parade marking the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day started to maneuver home on May 1.
Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs, attended the event and encouraged the troops.

Accordingly, the battalion's commanding officers issued the maneuvering order and assigned specific tasks to each sub-unit. The maneuvering route includes road and rail transportation, with the railway segment running from Bien Hoa station (Dong Nai province) to Hanoi station.
In his speech, Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To applauded the great efforts of troops from the Military Guard-of-Honor Battalion in their task performance, contributing to the overall success of the grand celebration, spreading the images of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the hearts of Vietnamese people at home and abroad and international friends.

Gen. To required the battalion's force to strictly follow marching orders, manage all situations effectively, and ensure absolute safety in all aspects. At stopovers along the way, troops should show the cultural values of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in their interactions with local authorities and people. Upon returning to the unit, they should promptly settle back in and continue performing their assigned duties.
The GDP deputy chief hoped that the troops would continue to uphold obtained results and focus on carrying out all future tasks.
