Military parade forces return North safely as scheduled
PANO - On May 3, the train carrying Delegation No.1 including officers and soldiers who successfully completed their mission in the military parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2025), led by Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) of the Vietnam People’s Army Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, arrived safely at the Hanoi Railway Station.
Officers and soldiers from the Hanoi Capital Command, representatives from relevant agencies and units, as well as war veterans, Youth Union members, students, and local people warmly welcomed the delegation in a cozy atmosphere.
During their journey, the delegation made several stops to exchange with local authorities and people, contributing to strengthening military-civilian ties and spreading patriotism across the country.
Lieutenant General Truong Thien To hailed and acknowledged the efforts of the agencies and units in building plans, strictly managing personnel, equipment and weapons, and ensuring food and hygiene safety. He particularly praised the thoughtful reception at railway stations as scheduled.
At the same time, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To also expressed his thank to the Vietnam Railways Corporation for the transportation of officers and soldiers from Hanoi for the recent April 30 celebration in Ho Chi Minh City, and for returning them to their units after successfully completing their missions.
