Troops of Coast Guard Region 1 in coordination with Hai Phong Department of Customs seize a huge amount of elephant ivory.

In detail, Coast Guard Region 1 has effectively implemented reconnaissance work, closely coordinated with Hai Phong Department of Customs to combat illegal trade of elephant ivory from Nigeria to Vietnam and seize a huge amount of elephant ivory worth more than tens of billions of Vietnamese dong.

Meanwhile, Coast Guard Region 4 has thoroughly grasped situations at sea, handled three cases related to oil tankers without legal documents, and seized more than 200,000 liters of diesel (valued at about VND 4 billion), among others.
