During the 2019-2023 period, adhering to the Prime Minister's decision and guidelines from various levels regarding the project, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command focused on directing the development of specific plans for implementing the project. These plans were closely aligned with the unit's actual situation and tasks, ensuring effectiveness and achieving the set objectives.

The Coast Guard Region 2 Command took the initiative to compile educational materials for the dissemination of the Vietnam Coast Guard Law. Regular training sessions were organized for the in-charge officers in various agencies and units, turning them into key forces for disseminating information to officials, Party members, and people. Moreover, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command collaborated with local departments and agencies in implementing programs such as “Coast Guards Accompany Fishermen” and “Coast Guards with Ethnic Minority and Religious Communities.”

An overview of the conference

The Deputy Commander in charge of law at the Vietnam Coast Guard Command proposed that the Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 2 continues to focus on strengthening leadership of agencies and units at all-levels in implementing the project. The emphasis should be on providing guidance for the local authorities of island districts and coastal areas to spread successful models, continually innovating forms and methods for project implementation.
