The success of the training session and the live-fire drill was evaluated to come from the thorough preparation of the party committees at all levels and efforts of participating troops. Having received higher level’s plan, Brigade 125’s Party Committee issued a leadership resolution on training and live-fire drill and launched an emulation movement to motivate the unit’s troops to obtain high achievements. Together with that, the unit paid attention to education and dissemination work to raise troops’ determination to fulfill assigned missions.

According to Brigade 125’s Commanding Officer Senior Captain Nguyen Dinh Lich, in preparation for the training session, agencies and units under the brigade conducted the assessment of their troops’ capabilities and practical training abilities to build an additional training plan. All troops participating in the live-fire drill at sea must complete all contents at wharf with good and excellent results and demonstrated abilities of using weapons.

Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 125 Captain Le Hong Quang said that the unit also attached much importance to raising troops’ stance and determination to overcome difficulties to fulfill higher task requirements.

Thanks to thorough preparation, all crew-members of seven ships, namely TS06, TS21, 960, 957, 956, 903, and 791 left the port with the highest determination and were confident to have the best shooting results.

In each stage, ships and ship formations successfully handled simulated scenarios and well completed all set contents. According to Non-commissioned Ensign Nguyen Quang Phuc, a gunner of Ship 957 of Naval Squadron 5, thanks to long-day training and annual participation in shooting events, the ship’s crew-members skillfully and precisely handled circumstances and shot down the targets.

The live-fire drill’s result demonstrated troops’ determination to overcome difficulties, their mastery of weapons and equipment, and their close and harmonious coordination among forces. 

Captain Le Xuan Yen, Second-in-Command and Chief of Staff of Brigade 125, evaluated that the freshly-ended training session and live-fire drill at sea were completed successfully and absolute safety was ensured.
