PANO – Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Cung, Deputy Minister of National Defence, on January 26th chaired a conference to discuss operational regulations for the Ministry’s Steering Board for the reform of administrative procedures.
The board was established under Decision No.4789/QD-BQP on November 17th 2014 by the Minister of National Defence. After that, it built up drafts for the Board’s operational regulations and tasks for 2015.

At the conference, the participants thoroughly discussed the drafts.
General Cung held that promoting administrative reforms in military and defence affairs is to contribute to strengthening the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the militia force, helping build the VPA as a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern army.
The General asked relevant units to accomplish plans and action programs of the Steering Board for 2015 and the Defence Ministry’s administrative reform project as scheduled.
