The event was attended by Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong; Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet; and Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh.
Addressing the event, General Phan Van Giang hailed the unit’s great efforts over the past time, especially in seriously implementing directions by the defense minister in his inspection in April 2022 on raising quality of education contents, including foreign language training.
At the same time, the school effectively carried out the Party and political work as well as technical and logistical issues.
In the coming time, General Phan Van Giang asked the school to further grasp and implement resolutions, directions and instructions by higher levels, improve quality of teaching and training, upgrade training fields, regularly hold exercises and after-action-review work, and organize inspection plans to check training quality.
Meanwhile, the school should promote troops' awareness of and responsibility for observing the State's laws and military discipline, improve internal solidarity, and actively respond to the “Determined-to-win” emulation movement and other emulation drives.
Besides, the defense minister requested the school to continuously build a healthy and strong party organization and exemplary, typical, comprehensively strong unit.
