“Army of Culture” team assigned missions for Army Games 2023
PANO - On February 28, a conference was held at the Military University of Culture and Arts to assign missions to the “Army of Culture” team which is about to participate in the upcoming International Army Games 2023 in Russia.
Major General Le Xuan Sang, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Education and Information under the General Department of Political Affairs, chaired the event.

Accordingly, after a careful selection, 20 outstanding artists from seven agencies and units in the whole military will join a month-long training course (March 1 - 30). Trainees will improve their skills in playing instruments, vocal performance and dancing.
Attentively, this year, artists from the military art troupes of Military Regions 1, 2, and 7, and more have been chosen for the “Army of Culture” team.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Le Xuan Sang underlined that this is the fifth time Vietnam is going to participate in the Army Games. In previous years, the “Army of Culture” team obtained remarkable achievements. The Vietnamese Military Art Troupe’s performances left good impressions on international friends, contributing to popularizing cultural and artistic values of the Vietnam People’s Army in particular and the Vietnamese identity in general.
In preparations for the Army Games 2023, Gen. Sang required military units to continue selecting talented artists for the training course while building a detailed plan and hard practice of their performances to meet the requirements of the event.
In addition, the units should focus on raising their expertise and professionalism, as well as strictly maintaining regulations and plans to create favorable conditions for the team during training and competition.
