According to Brigade 596’s report, since the beginning of the year, the unit has strictly implemented directives and resolutions from higher authorities, closely followed its political tasks, and conducted comprehensive activities at all levels. Notably, the brigade successfully ensured smooth communication and broadcasting support for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 – 2025).

The brigade also successfully organized Party congresses at all levels, including its own Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term. Political education and motivation for troops have been strengthened, and Party and political work has been conducted regularly and in accordance with regulations. Personnel management, policy implementation, mass mobilization, and safety assurance in all missions have been effectively carried out, fostering confidence and strong determination among officers and soldiers to fulfill every assigned task.

The delegation conducted comprehensive checks in various areas, including political education, personnel affairs, Party organization building, mass mobilization, policy affairs, inspection and supervision, internal security, emulation movements at the grassroots level, and planning and coordination. They also reviewed combat readiness, new recruit training, military manpower management, discipline building, and more.

For each area of focus, members of the delegation examined documentation, conducted interviews with officers and soldiers to assess their understanding, and observed political education sessions and drill practices. Through on-site inspection, the delegation identified strengths and weaknesses, offering feedback to the unit’s leadership for improvement.

In his remarks, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To commended Brigade 596 for its effective Party and political work, which has contributed significantly to accomplishing its key political missions in the first half of 2025. He urged the brigade to address shortcomings promptly to improve its overall performance.

The GDP Deputy Chief emphasized that, in the coming time, the Party Committee and chain of command of the brigade must accurately assess and anticipate challenges affecting mission implementation to propose effective leadership measures. He directed the unit to continue thoroughly implementing resolutions and guidelines from higher levels, and to reform Party and political work to make it more practical and effective.

He also urged the brigade’s Party Committee to build a clean, strong, and exemplary Party organization by strictly adhering to Party leadership principles, closely monitoring the mindset of its personnel, and maintaining a hands-on, dedicated approach to soldier engagement.

Additionally, he emphasized the importance of strictly implementing internal political protection regulations, ensuring security, and fostering close coordination with local authorities to strengthen public support and grassroots unity.

Finally, he asked the unit to further improve the quality and effectiveness of its Party and political work in all missions, proactively enhance training quality, master weapons and equipment, and build a comprehensively strong and combat-ready unit capable of handling any situation.
