The delegation, consisting of 186 representatives from the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization, the Government Office, Hoa Binh and Lao Cai provinces, businesses, artists, journalists, and personnel from the Vietnam People’s Navy, visited various islands and the DK1/16 platform.

At each location, the delegation worked with, encouraged, presented gifts to, and held cultural exchanges with the military, civilians, and forces stationed on the islands and DK1 platforms. Activities included flag-raising ceremonies, inspections at Song Tu Tay (Southwest Cay) Island, memorial services for fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives defending national sovereignty near Len Dao – Co Lin (Lansdowne Reef – Collins Reef), and paying tribute at the statue of national hero Tran Hung Dao on Song Tu Tay Island. Additionally, they planted trees, organized cultural events, and paid tribute at monuments and memorials across the islands.

Throughout the trip, the delegation presented gifts to the military and civilians on the islands and DK1 platforms, supporting the Vietnam People’s Navy’s programs and activities with a total value of over VND 7 billion. Each gift served as a token of affection from the mainland, contributing to boosting the morale of military personnel and civilians, helping them stay focused on their duties.

During the voyage, a series of activities were held, including flower arranging competitions, cultural performances, island knowledge contests, chess games, and composing reflections, poetry, and artwork. At the conclusion of the trip, the Vietnam People’s Navy awarded the “For the Cause of Defending National Sea and Island Sovereignty” and “Truong Sa Soldier” badges to all delegates.
