The congress will draw the participation of 450 official delegates, including 430 selected from 60 Party organizations at grassroots levels. Party General Secretary, State President, and Secretary of the Central Military Committee Nguyen Phu Trong will attend the event.

Reportedly, Party committees at all levels in the whole military have made preparations in terms of both documents and personnel plans, and organized congresses as instructed with good results. The CMC’s Standing Committee and GDP have directed Party Committees of the General Department II, General Department of Logistics, and the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel Group) implemented their Party congresses as models for other Party congresses in the whole military, toward the 11th Military Party Congress.

As of September 14, 2020, more than 28,000 party organizations at all levels in the military have completed their party congresses in accordance with principles and procedures, and gained good results.  The successes of these congresses have created favorable conditions and atmospheres for troops to fulfill their assigned missions.

Embracing all directions and instructions of higher levels, especially Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong, the CMC and CMC’s Standing Committee have made good preparations for the upcoming 11th Military Party Congress in terms of both documents and personnel plans. The Politburo highly valued the good preparations for the 11th Military Party Congress.

Under the framework of the event, many important activities will be held such as laying flowers to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and fallen soldiers, and an exhibition featuring military-defense achievements over the past five years, among others.
