According to Colonel Nguyen Van Cuong, Commanding officer of Brigade 175 and head of the VPN’s ship formation, despite high waves and strong winds, troops of Ships 263 and 265 heightened their responsibility to accomplish the mission in accordance with the joint patrol regulations and establishment of communication channel on June 14, 1999.

With thorough preparations and close collaboration, the 50th joint patrol between the naval forces of the two countries was wrapped up successfully, contributing to maintaining security and order in the waters adjacent to Vietnam and Thailand and fostering cooperation, mutual understanding, and trust between the two navies.
