The event brought together cadets and young officers from the navies of Australia, Cambodia, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, and Thailand, as well as cadets from the Viet Nam People’s Army military schools, namely the Naval Academy, the Signal Officer Candidate School, and the Air Force Officer Candidate College.
The participants were divided into four mixed teams. Team 1 comprised representatives from China, New Zealand, Thailand, and the Naval Academy; Team 2 included Indonesia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Signal Officer Candidate School; Team 3 brought together Australia, Cambodia, Malaysia, and the Air Force Officer Candidate College; while Team 4 consisted of Canada, India, Laos, and the Naval Academy.
The teams competed in three events: beach volleyball, sack racing, and rowing. At the end of the competitions, the organizing panel presented prizes to the top-performing teams in each event.
The sports exchange provided a practical opportunity to improve physical fitness and endurance among military personnel, especially future naval officers. It also enabled international naval cadets to share experience, strengthen mutual trust and understanding, and further promote solidarity and friendship among navies and militaries in the region and around the world.
