Rear Admiral, Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Thanh Cong, Director of the Naval Academy, presided over the ceremony and delivered the closing remarks.
Throughout the program, naval officer cadets from Australia, Cambodia, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam took part in a range of practical activities, including hands-on sea training, professional exchanges, a seminar, cultural exchanges, beach sports competitions, and visits to learn about Viet Nam’s traditions, history, culture, and people. All the activities were conducted in a spirit of solidarity, friendship, responsibility, openness, respect for differences, and a willingness to share professional experience.
In his closing remarks, Rear Admiral Ngo Thanh Cong expressed delight at the success and thanked agencies under the Ministry of National Defense, the Viet Nam People’s Navy, and the international delegations.
He said, “The friendship, mutual understanding, and fond memories forged over the past few days will be cherished for a long time and become memorable milestones in each cadet’s professional journey, helping further deepen cooperation and friendship among our naval forces. We hope that, when returning to their home countries, every officer and cadet will carry with them fond memories of Viet Nam, the Naval Academy, and the friends who joined them throughout this exchange and training program.”
The Director of the Naval Academy expressed confidence that friendship among the armed forces and navies of the participating countries would continue to grow, while cooperation among naval officer training academies and schools in the region and around the world would be further expanded and deepened.
