The head of the Vietnamese delegation underlined that the Japan visit of the CSB 8004 and the delegation of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command is one of the significant activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Japan (September 21, 1973-2023).

The visit also contributes to strengthening the friendship and mutual understanding and trust between the two coast guard forces. It offers an opportunity for the two sides to exchange experience and foster coordination in responding to traditional and non-traditional maritime security issues at sea, thereby deepening the relationship between the two forces.
