Vietnamese and Chinese border guards hold talks
PANO - Representatives of 12 border stations of the Vietnam's northern provinces of Cao Bang and Ha Giang held talks with the Baise city's armed border police delegation of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region (China) on April 24 to review their cooperation in the first quarter of this year.

Accordingly, the two sides well implemented their signed cooperation agreements, actively worked together in managing and protecting the shared border area, fighting crimes and effectively dealing with emerging issues to maintain stability, security and order along the borderline.
In addition, both sides exchanged information relating to border security as well as collaborated in seizing and returning their citizens who illegally crossed the joint borderline.
The two border forces planned to continue well implementing the minutes of the 4th dialogue between the border guard force of the four Vietnamese provinces of Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang and Ha Giang and the Guangxi armed border police corps. Besides, they will continue providing information for and educate people along the shared border to follow the two countries’ laws on border management and entry-exit regulations.
They will also give advice to both sides' local authorities to boost bilateral cooperation in economy, culture and society, expand the model of twinning relations between localities along the shared borderline, contributing to building a border of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation and development between Vietnam and China.
