Vietnam’s and RoK’s naval troops hold exchange activities
PANO – On December 12, at Jinhae Naval Base, as part of the courtesy visit to the Republic of Korea (RoK) by Frigate 015–Tran Hung Dao of the Vietnam People’s Navy, naval officers and sailors of the two countries conducted ship tours aboard Frigate 015–Tran Hung Dao and ROKS Munmu the Great, and participated in friendly sports exchange activities.
During the visits to the two warships, officers and sailors from both sides were briefed on the recent operations of each vessel and shared experiences related to long-distance deployments at sea.

The badminton match between Vietnamese and Korean naval personnel took place in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere, featuring exciting rallies, reflecting the spirit of friendship, solidarity, and sportsmanship.

On the same evening, the Vietnam People’s Navy delegation hosted a banquet aboard Frigate 015–Tran Hung Dao for personnel of the RoK Navy.

The banquet featured a selection of traditional Vietnamese dishes from all three regions of the country, demonstrating the sincerity, hospitality, and respect extended by the officers and sailors of Frigate 015–Tran Hung Dao.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Senior Captain Nguyen Vinh Nam, Deputy Commander of Vietnam’s Naval Region 4 and Head of the Vietnam People’s Navy delegation, expressed his appreciation to the RoK Navy for creating favorable conditions for officers and sailors of both navies to engage in exchanges and share professional experiences in carrying out their respective missions. He emphasized that such activities contribute to further strengthening mutual trust, solidarity, and close ties between the two navies, fostering cooperation toward a future of shared development.
