The welcome ceremony took place at the pier with the participation of officers and sailors of the Korean Navy. Senior Colonel Le Hiep Lam, Vietnam’s Defense Attaché to the RoK, along with officials from the Vietnamese Defense Attaché Office in Seoul, also attended the event.

This port call is the final stop in Frigate 015 - Tran Hung Dao’s tour to China, Japan, and the RoK. The delegation is led by Senior Captain Nguyen Vinh Nam, Deputy Commander of Naval Region 4 of the Vietnam People’s Navy.

Exchange activities during the visit will provide an opportunity for officers and sailors of the two navies to learn more about the history and culture of Vietnam and the RoK, fostering mutual trust and understanding, contributing to strengthening and deepening the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two naval forces in a substantive, effective, and sustainable manner.

Previously, in October 2018, Frigate 015 - Tran Hung Dao participated in the RoK’s International Fleet Review.
