Under a rotational mechanism, the Vietnamese side hosted the joint patrol, establishing a unified command and deploying four ground teams. The operation included two liaison groups comprising four officers, two from each side. The patrol covered the Vietnam–China border from marker No.17 to marker No.71.
Executing coordinated patrols by vehicle and on foot, both sides followed the "border-to-border, point-to-point, and route-to-route" method over two sessions. A total of 48 personnel and 12 vehicles participated across four teams. During the 150-kilometer mission, the sides exchanged 12 mutual greetings, distributed over 250 leaflets, and provided legal education to more than 250 border residents.
