Dong Nai provincial Military Command extends Khmer New Year greetings in Cambodia

A military delegation of Dong Nai province extends Khmer New Year greetings to Kampong Thom provincial Military Sub-Region.

The delegation visited, presented gifts and sent greetings to the Kampong Thom provincial Military Sub-Region, Kratie provincial Gendarmerie Command, Kratie provincial Military Sub-Region, and Battalion 4 under the Kratie provincial Military Sub-Region.

The delegation paid tribute to fallen soldiers and visited Team K72 of the Dong Nai provincial Military Command, which is searching for and repatriating remains of Vietnamese soldiers who laid down their lives while conducting international service in Cambodia in wartime. 

Senior Colonel Vo Thanh Danh provided an overview of Dong Nai’s socio-economic development and defense-security situation in 2025, particularly following the provincial merger, and highlighted several military, defense, and border affairs activities.

He underlined that cooperation between Dong Nai and Cambodian provinces, particularly Kampong Thom and Kratie, has grown stronger, with regular exchanges, close coordination and joint activities, including free medical check-ups, medicine distribution and gift support for Cambodian armed forces and people.

On this occasion, he thanked the Cambodian armed forces and people for supporting Team K72 of the Dong Nai provincial Military Command in its mission. He expressed hope that the comprehensive cooperation, particularly in defense, between the Dong Nai provincial Military Command and military sub-regions of Kampong Thom and Kratie and their affiliated units would continue to develop, contributing to strengthening ties between the two militaries and the two countries.
