According to the Vietnamese general, after the first successful exchange, the cooperative ties among regional maritime law enforcement forces have been enhanced while more exchanges, ship visits, joint patrols and exercises have been held regularly with richer forms and contents.

Noting that this year, the Vietnam Coast Guard continues to host the exchange program with the message of “Solidarity is strength” with new contents, Gen. Dao believed that the exchange would give the participants chances to network, boost understanding, cooperate in a more intensive, practical and effective manner. It would also help build trust, create high consensus in coordinating to perform their tasks, join hands for waters of peace, prosperity, sustainable development for countries and the region.
