The delegation of the Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard Command congratulates Maj. Gen. Chea Chetra.

On behalf of the delegation, Sr. Col. Nguyen Thanh Dinh expressed his confidence that, with their experience, capabilities and dedication, the two generals would lead their respective forces in successfully fulfilling their assigned duties, contributing to political security, social order and safety, and the development of Mondulkiri province.

During the meetings, Col. Dinh emphasized that cooperative ties between the Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard Command, the Mondulkiri Provincial Police Department, and the Mondulkiri Provincial Gendarmerie Command have increasingly deepened and yielded practical results.

Both sides have regularly maintained coordination to safeguard security and order in border areas and at border gates, proactively exchanged information, and combated transnational crime, contributing to building a border of peace, friendship, stability, and development.

The two generals thanked the delegation for the congratulations and sentiments, saying the visit was a meaningful source of encouragement and reflected the close bonds, solidarity and coordination between Mondulkiri’s forces and the Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard Command.

The Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard Command and the Mondulkiri Provincial Gendarmerie Command agree to further strengthen information exchange and coordination to maintain security and order in border areas.

The two Cambodian generals endorsed proposals to expand and enhance the effectiveness of twinning activities between border protection units on both sides. They affirmed that in their new positions, they will direct subordinate units to maintain regular coordination mechanisms with the Lam Dong Border Guard force. They expressed a desire to step up joint patrols, information sharing, and handling of border security issues, ensuring safety for residents and creating a favorable environment to promote socioeconomic cooperation along the border.
