Along with classroom learning, in-depth exchanges and discussions, the Cambodian officers had field studies at Brigade 229 under the Engineering Corps and the Phu Tho Provincial Military Command, and visited several historical sites and scenic landmarks in Hanoi and several localities. These activities contributed to improving professional knowledge and skills for senior officers of the RCAF, while helping them gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam, its people, and the traditions of resistance, national construction and defense of the Vietnamese people.

He highlighted the trainees’ high sense of responsibility and determination and close coordination among relevant agencies and units inside and outside the academy, contributing to the course’s success. As a result, 100 percent of the participants achieved excellent and outstanding results, leaving a strong impression through their serious study attitude, solidarity and discipline.
In his speech, Deputy Political Commissar of the Vietnamese academy Major General Vu Duc Long affirmed that the results of the refresher course were not only meaningful in terms of training and capacity building, but also a vivid demonstration of the traditional solidarity, friendship, comprehensive cooperation and long-term sustainability between the two Parties, States and militaries.

On behalf of the trainees, Major General Sous Saru, head of Cambodian trainee delegation, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Party, State and Vietnam People’s Army, particularly the Military Political Academy, for creating favorable conditions for senior officers of the RCAF to study and conduct research in a standardized, humane military educational environment.
He affirmed that upon returning to their units, they would effectively apply the acquired knowledge to practical work, strive to fulfill their assigned duties and responsibilities, and contribute to further strengthening the friendship between the two countries and their militaries.
