RCAF officers visit and encourage Vietnam’s Team K93
PANO – On November 14, Major General Chhum Vi-Sal, Deputy Commander and Head of the Specialized Committee of the Third Military Region under the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF), and Lieutenant General Manh Mach, Chief of the Military Sub-region and Deputy Head of the Specialized Committee of Cambodia’s Kampong Speu province, visited and encouraged officers and soldiers of Team K93 (under the Political Division of Vietnam’s An Giang provincial Military Command).
The team is performing the mission of searching for and collecting remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who laid down their lives in Cambodia during wartime.

During the meeting, leaders of Cambodia’s Military Region 3 and Kampong Speu province’s Military Sub-region commended the sense of responsibility, determination to overcome hardships, and close coordination of Team K93 in carrying out their mission. They also highly valued the team’s recent search results, affirming that the authorities and armed forces of Cambodia’s Kampong Speu province will continue to offer support and create favorable conditions for Team K93 to successfully fulfill its tasks during the 2025-2026 dry season.
On behalf of the unit, leader of Team K93 expressed deep gratitude for the assistance provided by the local authorities and armed forces of Military Region 3 and Kampong Speu province’s Military Sub-region, affirming that the team will continue to uphold its traditions, overcome difficulties, and remain determined to fulfill all assigned tasks.

The visit served as timely encouragement for the members of Team K93 to successfully accomplish their mission of searching for, collecting, and repatriating the remains of fallen Vietnamese soldiers to the homeland.
