In his opening remarks, Deputy Director of the Military Broadcasting Center Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Hoan said the course is part of the cooperation plan between the Ministries of National Defense of Vietnam and Cambodia in 2025. He expressed his hope that during the two-month course, all 15 RCAF cadres would gain essential knowledge on the production process.

He also emphasized the opportunities that the course opens for both sides, including sharing experience and learning from each other to further improve their expertise.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese officer gave the Cambodian trainees an overview of the Military Broadcasting Center.

As planned, during their training in Vietnam, the Cambodian cadres will learn about news writing and editing for radio programs, interview skills and production, live radio programming, trends in modern television amidst the digital media era, modern TV production workflows, field reporting and anchoring skills, live news and video editing techniques, among others.
