An overview of the meeting

On behalf of the Party Committee and leadership of Division 316, Senior Colonel Bui The Dung warmly welcomed the delegation from Division 2 of the Laos People’s Army and expressed his delight that officers of the two units continue to maintain exchanges and experience-sharing activities, an enduring tradition reflecting the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos, as well as the long-standing relationship between Division 316 and Division 2.

In a friendly atmosphere, the Commanding Officer of Division 316 inquired about the delegation’s health, living and training conditions, and their assessment of the training program and logistical support during their stay.

Representatives of the Lao delegation expressed sincere thanks for the thoughtful support from Division 316’s Party Committee and leadership. They affirmed that during their time at Regiment 174, they always received the most favorable conditions from commanding officers at all levels, and that the training content was practical and useful, helping enhance the experience and professional capability of officers from Division 2.

As scheduled, the Lao officers will continue their training program at Division 316 until December 3.
