Lao trainees hoped to apply acquired knowledge in Vietnam to duties in Laos
PANO - Senior Colonel Hoang Huu Quy, Deputy Chief Justice of the Central Military Court, hoped that on the basis of the knowledge acquired during the course in Vietnam, Lao trainees from the military court will continue studying to apply to their units suitably.
Col. Quy expressed his hope at a closing ceremony of a one-month refresher course for Lao military court cadres held on August 15 at Unit 871 under the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People’s Army.

The Vietnamese official said that the course ended as planned, completing all set contents and programs.
He highlighted the high sense of responsibility, and serious study spirit of 20 Lao trainees. According to him, during the course, the Lao trainees studied topics on the Law on Organization of the People's Courts, the Criminal Law, the Law on Criminal Procedures in Vietnam; recruitment, training and fostering of military court cadres, and advisory work. They were also provided with knowledge, skills and gained experience in military court work.
Col. Quy hoped that the application of acquired knowledge will actively contribute to the development of the Lao military court sector and judicial system.

He also hoped that more exchanges between the Vietnam People’s Army and the Lao People’s Army in judicial area in general and military court work in particular will be held to raise awareness, competence and capacity of the military court cadres of the two countries, thereby further promoting the solidarity and close-knit ties between the two militaries and peoples.
