Attending the event, on the Vietnamese side were Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Hai, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Corps 15; representatives of the General Staff and the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People’s Army; and leaders of several affiliated agencies of Corps 15.

On the Lao side, the delegation was headed by Colonel Latsami Keomixay, Head of the Board for Experts and Cadets, the Department of Foreign Relations, the Office of the Lao Ministry of National Defense.

According to Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Hai, from 2022 to 2024, Corps 15 provided training courses on agricultural knowledge for 100 Lao officers at the Vocational Training College No.21. After returning home, these officers have effectively applied their knowledge and contributed to socio-economic development in their units and localities in Laos.

In 2025, Corps 15 is entrusted by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense to continue providing agricultural training for 20 Lao officers. This, he stressed, is a great honor for Corps 15 in implementing defense cooperation tasks between the two Ministries of National Defense, contributing to further strengthening the great friendship and special solidarity between the two Parties, States, militaries, and peoples.

During the two-month program, the Lao officers will receive theoretical training at the Vocational Training College No.21 and take part in field trips to Corps 15’s units. They will also visit historical relics, cultural sites, and agricultural production models in Gia Lai and Quang Ngai provinces.

Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Hai extended his best wishes to the Lao officers and expressed his belief that, with the careful preparation of Corps 15 and the Vocational Training College No.21, and the efforts of the Lao trainees, the agricultural training course will achieve its goals successfully.
