The two sides conducted the joint patrol by combining motorized patrols and foot patrols, carried out in two time slots over a total duration of four hours, covering the border segment from Landmark No.29 to Landmark No.71.

During the patrol, both sides deployed 12 teams involving 96 personnel and 12 vehicles, held 20 field discussions, distributed 800 information leaflets, and conducted dissemination sessions for 800 border residents, covering a total distance of 150 kms.

At the conclusion of the patrol, the two sides agreed that the operation was successful, achieving its set goals and objectives. Moving forward, both sides pledged to continue strictly implementing the minutes of the 18th Provincial-Level Working Meeting between the delegation of the Entry-Exit Border Inspection General Station of Yunnan province (China) and the delegation of the Border Guard Commands of Lai Chau, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, and Dien Bien provinces (Vietnam).

They also agreed to further consolidate the joint patrol mechanism, strengthen coordination in combating cross-border crimes, promote a swift repatriation mechanism, foster a safe and smooth border environment for customs clearance and expand friendly cooperation.
Both sides were committed to maintaining regular information exchanges on border-related matters, promptly handling incidents, combating illegal immigration, human trafficking, smuggling, and other violations, thereby ensuring security and order in border areas.
