Gathering to mark 65th anniversary of Cambodia's Independence Day
PANO – Border Guard Training School 2 held a gathering for Cambodian students on November 8 in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Cambodia's Independence Day and the founding day of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) (November 9, 1953).
At the event, Cambodian students recalled the traditions of the Cambodian people and Royal Cambodian Armed Forces over the past 65 years. They also expressed their gratitude to the school’s leadership for organizing the event.

Speaking at the gathering, Colonel Nguyen Duc Y, Dr., Deputy Headmaster of Border Guard Training School 2, congratulated Cambodian students for their country’s development over the past years, and at the same time praised their efforts to overcome hardship to have good academic results.
He hoped that the Cambodian cadets would heighten their responsibility, follow higher levels’ regulations, and strive to become excellent staff, contributing to developing the country and promoting the solidarity and friendship between the two militaries and countries.
