During their stay in the RoK, officers and sailors of the two navies toured Frigate 015 and the Munmu the Great of the Korean Navy, shared experience in training and long-duration voyages at sea, and took part in sports exchanges.

The delegation of the Vietnam People’s Navy also hosted a banquet on board frigate 015-Tran Hung Dao for senior officers and sailors of the host navy.

Rear Admiral Shin Yu Chan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Korean Navy, highly appreciated the significance of the visit by Frigate 015 and the delegation of the Vietnam People’s Navy. He affirmed that the exchange activities during the visit would contribute to strengthening mutual trust and cooperation between the two navies.

During the return voyage to Vietnam, Frigate 015 will continue conducting long-range maritime training to enhance capabilities in command and control, operation and mastery of weapons and equipment, and handling real-life situations at sea under complex weather conditions.
