DSA exhibition and NATSEC Asia are important and major defense-security events held every two years by the Malaysian government.

According to Malaysia’s Senior Minister and Minister of Defense Hishammuddin Hussein, about 25,000 visitors from more than 50 countries and territories are expected to participate in the DSA exhibition and NATSEC Asia.

At the meeting on the sidelines of the DSA exhibition and NATSEC Asia, the defense ministers of Malaysia, Indonesia, and Philippines underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation to deter security threats in the Sulu and Sulawesi seas, agreeing to boost coordination among the three countries’ maritime command centers to increase the effectiveness of information exchange, monitoring and conducting maritime and aviation surveillance activities.

Also the three ministers wished to soon resume joint air and maritime patrols in the time to come.
