The Indian naval ship is about to dock at Tien Sa port.

A welcome ceremony for the ship and the Indian delegation was held right at the port under the co-chair of the municipal Department of External Affairs and representatives from the Naval Region 3 Command. Representatives from the municipal Military Command, the City Border Guard Command, the Command of Da Nang Port Border Post, the Division of Foreign Relations of Military Region 5, the Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of National Defense, and the Naval Service were also present at the event.

During the visit, Indian ship commanders and officers will pay a courtesy call on leaders of the municipal People’s Committee, Military Region 5, and Naval Region 3 Command. They will welcome Vietnamese delegates on the Ins Delhi. The Indian officers and crew-members will have volleyball matches with their peers from the Naval Region 3 Command and tour some cultural sites in the city.

The visit of the Indian naval ship is expected to help promote the friendship and mutual trust between the two countries and navies and in line with the policy of strengthening Vietnam - India cooperative ties.
