Corps 15’s individuals honored with Lao Defense Ministry’s Bravery Order

Lieutenant General Douansavan Sayphimkhampathoum hands over the order to Senior Colonel Khuat Ba Cao and Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Lam.

Accordingly, the Lao Ministry of National Defense awarded the Second-Class Bravery Order to Deputy Commander of Corps 15 Senior Colonel Khuat Ba Cao and Deputy Commander of Corps 15 Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Lam.

The Third-Class Bravery Order was presented to Director of Company 385 Colonel Cu Duc Mau, Principal of Vocational College No.21 Colonel Nguyen Xuan Hien, and Deputy Director of Company 385 Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tat Dan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Colonel Khuat Ba Cao emphasized that the Vietnam - Laos and Laos - Vietnam solidarity is a rare and special relationship in the world, founded by the leaders of the two countries. It is a relationship built on unity and trust, tested through hardships and challenges, and preserved through the sweat, blood, and sacrifices of many generations. In particular, cadres, soldiers, and workers of Corps 15 have been working and closely attached to 15 villages across five districts in the two Lao provinces of Attapeu and Bolikhamxay. This is not only a mission, but also a great honor and pride.

Expressing his emotion and pride upon receiving this noble award, Col. Cao extended his sincere gratitude to the leaders of the Lao Party, State, and Ministry of National Defense, as well as to the agencies, organizations, authorities, and people of Attapeu and Bolikhamxay provinces for their continued support and favorable conditions that have enabled Corps 15 to fulfill its tasks over the years.
