Corps 15 provides support to flood-affected residents
PANO – On December 12, Corps 15 organized a program offering medical check-ups, health consultations, free medicines, and gifts to policy beneficiaries, disadvantaged households, and residents affected by recent floods in Quy Nhon Dong Ward, Gia Lai Province.
Attending the program were representatives of Corps 15’s functional agencies, medical staff from Military Hospital 15 of Corps 15, and leaders of Gia Lai Province and Quy Nhon Dong Ward.

More than 300 local residents received medical examinations, health counseling, and free medicines from the military medical personnel of Military Hospital 15. Most beneficiaries were policy families, the elderly, children, and households heavily affected by floods.
The delegation of Corps 15 also handed over 300 gift packages, each worth 500,000 VND, to help local families overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
Speaking at the program, Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich, Vice Chairwoman of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized that the program of Corps 15 comes at a critical time as local residents are striving to recover from natural disasters. It reflects the responsibility and profound bond between the troops and the people. This meaningful support helps the locality prevent disease outbreaks, stabilize people’s life, and gradually restore production after the floods.

This program is part of Corps 15’s ongoing joint civil-military medical program. Previously, Military Hospital 15 conducted free health check-ups and medication distribution for 450 residents in Ia Pnon Commune, Gia Lai Province.
