The two sides have regularly organized meetings and talks, effectively maintained the hotline mechanism, and closely coordinated in handling incidents arising along the border in accordance with the principles of respecting each country's sovereignty, laws, and the signed bilateral agreements. Through these cooperation programs, people living in border areas have been educated on regulations related to immigration and emigration, crime prevention and control, border and border marker protection, and the maintenance of security and public order. As a result, people’s legal awareness has steadily improved, contributing to the development of peaceful, stable, and prosperous border areas.
