Senior Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Education and Information, chaired the conference.
Titled "Vietnam - Land and People," the Vietnamese cultural space is expected to include a central stage for artistic performances; a section introducing typical and unique images, documents, and artifacts of Vietnamese culture and the culture and art of the Vietnam People's Army; and a section for interaction and experience activities. In addition, various artistic programs and activities will take place at the opening ceremony and during the expo.
The cultural space and artistic programs will help popularize the culture, landscape and people of Vietnam and the culture and arts of the Vietnam People’s Army, leaving a good impression in the hearts of people and international friends, contributing to the overall success of the expo.
Concluding the conference, Sr. Col. Nguyen Xuan Thuy underlined that the Vietnam International Defense Expo 2024, held by the Ministry of National Defense, is expected to take place in Hanoi in this coming December. The expo aims to celebrate the 80th foundation anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People Defense Festive Day.
The event is an occasion for Vietnam to display weapons, technical equipment and defense industry products, as well as popularize the culture, landscape, people of Vietnam and the Vietnam People's Army. Therefore, in the time to come, relevant agencies and units should team up with each other to complete assigned tasks, ensuring quality and absolute safety in all aspects.
