The event was chaired by Major General, Dr. Nguyen Quang Dung, Deputy Director of the Academy of Logistics.

The course aims to strengthen the professional knowledge and military teaching skills of Royal Cambodian Army instructors while contributing to fostering friendship and solidarity between Viet Nam and Cambodia and their two militaries.

The training program covers two areas. The general component focuses on Viet Nam - Cambodia friendship and defense cooperation, the tradition of solidarity between the two militaries, teaching methods, lesson planning, military school training, military theory and the art of warfare, maps and terrain, operational staff work, Vietnamese and military terminology, logistics and technical terminology, and the use of information technology to design lessons and develop digital learning materials.

The specialized component provides theoretical knowledge and training methods in logistics and technical services, as well as command and staff work, quartermaster affairs, transportation, and petroleum. Trainees will also practice preparing specialized lessons.

At the opening ceremony, the Deputy Director of the Academy of Logistics emphasized that cooperation in education, training, and human resource development is an important area for strengthening friendship, solidarity, and trust between the two countries and their militaries. He noted that rapid advances in science and technology, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence are creating new requirements for logistics work and the training of logistics personnel, requiring military educational institutions to continuously innovate their content and methods and improve training quality.

He asked relevant agencies and units to coordinate closely and ensure all aspects of the course are fully and safely implemented. Teaching faculties were urged to select capable, experienced, and responsible instructors; adopt concise, visual, and trainee-oriented teaching methods; increase practical training, guidance, and experience sharing; and uphold the image of officers and instructors of the Viet Nam People's Army.

He also called on Royal Cambodian Army officers and instructors to maintain a proper learning attitude, actively study and exchange knowledge, strictly follow regulations, and ensure safety. They were encouraged to effectively apply the knowledge and experience gained to their teaching and continue serving as bridges to strengthen friendship and solidarity between the two militaries and peoples.

Following the opening ceremony, the trainees began studying general knowledge topics.
