In his closing remarks, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Relations Senior Colonel Dang Thanh Minh congratulated the trainees on successfully completing the course and highly praised their serious and responsible learning spirit, close and effective coordination among relevant agencies and units. He said that the nearly one-month course met the set objectives and quality requirements.

Sr. Col. Minh emphasized that amidst the rapidly evolving and increasingly complex regional and global situation, foreign affairs in general and defense diplomacy in particular require officials to continuously improve their professional expertise, research, analysis, forecasting, and strategic advisory capabilities in order to safeguard national interests. At the same time, the growing trend of peace, cooperation, and international integration calls for the development of a professional and modern foreign affairs workforce capable of meeting the requirements in the new situation.

He affirmed that the knowledge and experience shared during the course would help the trainees enhance their professional expertise in defense diplomacy while deepening their understanding of Vietnam, thereby providing a favorable foundation for further promoting cooperation between the two defense ministries and the two militaries.
Sr. Col. Minh also noted that bilateral defense cooperation has continued to be strengthened and developed in an increasingly substantive and effective manner across all fields, becoming one of the key pillars of bilateral relations. In these achievements, defense diplomacy has served as an important bridge by promoting information exchange, experience sharing, strategic consultation, and effective coordination in organizing cooperative activities, thereby consolidating the good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability between Vietnam and Cambodia.
