From August 12 to September 4, the Lao officers will study 24 topics related to politics, military affairs, logistics and technical operations, and conduct field trips and exchange activities.

The training will focus on Ha Tinh’s socio-economic situation; the traditional friendship between Viet Nam and Laos; border affairs; the two-tier local government system; countering UAVs; the search for and repatriation of Vietnamese fallen soldiers’ remains in Laos; mass mobilization; and logistics and technical operations.

As part of the course, the delegation will visit historical sites and economic zones and participate in sports and cultural exchanges to strengthen the special friendship and solidarity between Viet Nam and Laos.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Sr. Col. Nguyen Tu Tai, Second-in-Command of the Ha Tinh Provincial Military Command, asked the instructors and teaching staff to thoroughly prepare lesson plans, lectures, and translation and interpretation, ensuring that the training content is easy to understand and combines theory with practice. He expressed his hope that the trainees would actively study and effectively apply what they learn to their work after returning home.
