Indian NCC delegation exchanges at Signal Officer Candidate School

Representatives from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of National Defense, and the Military Youth Advisory Board of the Viet Nam People's Army accompanied the Indian delegation.

The delegation tours the exhibition area featuring science and technology products and exchanges with trainees at the Technology Incubation Space.

At the exchange, Senior Colonel Nguyen Duc Thuan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Signal Officer Candidate School, emphasized the traditional friendship between Viet Nam and India and affirmed that education and training, science and technology, and youth exchanges are key areas of cooperation.

He informed that the center, put into operation in 2015, is a symbolic project reflecting the solidarity between the two countries. It has provided training to nearly 20,000 officers and cadets and developed numerous science and technology products serving national defense and civilian needs.

As part of the exchange, the delegates watched a documentary introducing the school and the center; toured the scientific research products exhibition room; and participated in a language exchange with the English Club.

The visit provided an opportunity for young people from the two countries to deepen their understanding of military traditions, training environments, study experiences, and national cultural values. It thereby contributed to promoting defense cooperation and further elevating the enhanced comprehensive strategic partnership between Viet Nam and India.
